Keep dropping

Yes, this picture was taken recently. As a matter of fact, it was taken a week ago in VW. Since then, gas has actually dropped to $1.83. I took the picture so that when gas jumps back up to $3.50 a gallon, I will have proof that at one point, gas did dip under $2.00. Could we see $1.50 gas?

On a totally unrealed note, Myles found a new use for his thunderstick that I brought back from the Twin Cities Marathon.

I've become my dad

......I've given up on my coffee and switched to tea.
.....I get up before 6 o'clock and it doesn't bother me.
.....I have my morning run/lift in before my family gets out of bed.

This revelation has been a long time coming, but it was only this morning after driving back from my lift that it finally sunk in. Next step is to wear my running shorts while driving on family vacation's with flip flops and socks! I'm so screwed!

*This past weekend, I decided it was time to make a conscious effort to cut back on my caffeine intake. In doing so, I've eliminated my coffee and cut back to one pop a day. I've been pretty successful thus far. I feel that they account for a bunch of empty calories in my daily routine, not to mention an awful spike in my energy level. Along with the caffeine elimination, I've tried to increase the amount of fruits/veggies that I'm eating, as well as not eat a bunch of "junky" foods. All of this has resulted in caffeine headaches (withdraw) and the urge to eat a big greasy hamburger. It's only a matter of time before I can curb this "addiction." I'm just as bad as a crack junkie, only the caffeine won't kill me (I think)!
